Dr. Kim, Duk Whang, the founder of Eastern Social Welfare Society (ESWS) has provided permanent homes and has worked with adoptive families for the past 37 years. He has devoted his life helping children and families fulfill their dream. His passionate leadership has provided a wide range of welfare services through adoption, unwed mother’s homes, center for the disabled children and more.
AAC extend our deepest respect and appreciation for the kind support and wonderful work of Dr. Kim. It has been a great pleasure and honor to have worked with him and share the commitment and devotion toward the children.
It is sad to say goodbye and we wish him the best of luck. In honor of him and with all of your support, we are proud to share with you that we are making a donation in the amount of $5,000.00 toward the Pyeongtaek Center for the disabled children.
Eastern is trying to create a memory book for Dr. Kim. and would like participations from the adoptive families. Please send photos, letters or a kind note to AAC office and we will forward it onto Eastern.
